1. Company Information

Atlas Trails is a Morocco-based travel company specializing in guided tours, trekking experiences, cultural journeys, adventure travel, and customized travel services throughout Morocco.

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “Atlas Trails,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Atlas Trails, and “client,” “traveler,” “guest,” or “you” refers to the person booking or participating in our services.

2. Booking & Reservation Policy

A booking is considered confirmed once:

  • A deposit or full payment has been received

  • Confirmation has been sent by Atlas Trails

  • The traveler accepts these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

Clients are responsible for providing accurate personal information, including passport details, travel dates, and contact information.

3. Payments

Payment terms may vary depending on the tour or service booked.

Standard Payment Conditions:

  • A deposit may be required to confirm reservations

  • Remaining balances must be paid before the start of the tour unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Payments may be made by bank transfer, online payment gateway, or approved payment methods

Any bank transfer fees or international transaction charges are the responsibility of the client.

Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in cancellation of services.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

By the Client

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email.

Refund eligibility may depend on:

  • Cancellation timing

  • Hotel and supplier policies

  • Transportation and activity reservations already confirmed

General Cancellation Guidelines:

  • More than 30 days before arrival: partial or full refund may apply

  • 15–30 days before arrival: partial refund may apply

  • Less than 15 days before arrival: refunds may be limited or unavailable

Certain non-refundable services may include:

  • Flight tickets

  • Special event reservations

  • Luxury accommodations

  • Third-party bookings

Administrative and banking fees may be deducted from refunds.

By Atlas Trails

Atlas Trails reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to:

  • Weather conditions

  • Safety concerns

  • Natural disasters

  • Political instability

  • Insufficient participants

  • Circumstances beyond our control

In such cases, we will offer:

  • An alternative itinerary

  • A travel credit

  • A refund where applicable

Atlas Trails is not responsible for additional expenses incurred by the traveler, including flights, visas, insurance, or personal arrangements.

5. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all travelers.

Insurance should ideally cover:

  • Trip cancellation

  • Medical emergencies

  • Evacuation

  • Personal injury

  • Theft or loss of belongings

  • Adventure activities and trekking

Travelers participate in all activities at their own risk.

6. Health & Fitness

Some tours, treks, and adventure activities require a reasonable level of physical fitness.

Clients are responsible for:

  • Assessing their own fitness level

  • Consulting a medical professional if necessary

  • Informing Atlas Trails of any medical conditions, allergies, disabilities, or dietary restrictions before travel

Atlas Trails reserves the right to refuse participation if a traveler’s condition may endanger themselves or others.

7. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

Travelers are responsible for:

  • Holding a valid passport

  • Obtaining visas if required

  • Meeting all entry and health regulations for Morocco

Atlas Trails is not liable for denied boarding, refused entry, or travel disruptions caused by incomplete documentation.

8. Changes to Itineraries

While we strive to operate all tours as advertised, itineraries may occasionally change due to:

  • Weather

  • Road conditions

  • Operational requirements

  • Local circumstances

  • Safety considerations

We reserve the right to substitute accommodations, transportation, routes, or activities with alternatives of similar standard when necessary.

9. Accommodation Standards

Hotels, riads, camps, and lodges are selected based on local standards and availability.

Room categories, bedding arrangements, and amenities may vary depending on the property and destination.

Early check-in and late check-out cannot always be guaranteed.

10. Transportation

Atlas Trails works with licensed drivers and transportation providers.

Travel times listed on itineraries are approximate and may vary due to:

  • Traffic

  • Road conditions

  • Weather

  • Local events

Seat rotation policies may apply on group tours.

11. Client Conduct

Travelers are expected to behave respectfully toward:

  • Local communities

  • Guides and staff

  • Other travelers

  • Cultural traditions and local laws

Atlas Trails reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, dangerous, abusive, illegal, or inappropriate without refund.

12. Liability Disclaimer

Atlas Trails acts as an intermediary between travelers and local service providers, including:

  • Hotels

  • Transportation companies

  • Restaurants

  • Activity operators

While we carefully select our partners, we are not liable for:

  • Delays

  • Injuries

  • Losses

  • Accidents

  • Theft

  • Illness

  • Force majeure events

  • Actions of third-party providers

Participation in adventure activities, trekking, hiking, camel rides, and outdoor experiences involves inherent risks.

Clients assume personal responsibility for participation.

13. Intellectual Property

All content on atlas-trails.com, including:

  • Text

  • Logos

  • Images

  • Videos

  • Graphics

  • Branding

  • Tour descriptions

is the property of Atlas Trails unless otherwise stated and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

14. Website Use

Users agree not to:

  • Attempt unauthorized access
